Whats worse is that many times those 3rd n long conversions would be draw plays.

PhillyChiefFan 01-21-2009 09:19 AM

Detriot is the worst team in the league and they are still taking the refuse of other teams?

Good riddance, Gun.

Actually the worse part of his D was the mere fact they couldn't tackle. That is a pretty big deal when playing defense.

Yeehaw Mother****ers!! Get someone decent in here to get our D back in _efense Scott! :D

What are the odds that we'll hear Herm was let go today?

FringeNC 01-21-2009 09:20 AM

I read a few comments on the Detroit article about the hiring of Gun and this was the funniest:

Well, good. Cunningham will weed out the losers on defense.
No, Sorry, he'll bring more in.

Gunther needs to be low really low on someone's coaching staff. Like an Outside linebacker rush blitz defensive coach. So he can just tell the guy to blitz or go in coverage. That is the only way he is good. I can't understand why teams hire complete reeruns. Greg Robinson and gunther should be co defensive on a team so gunther can blitz the back eight and robinson can drop off the 4 down linemen into coverage

I'm starting to worry. I know that Haley is an option right now and obviously he has his plate full, but what is stopping them from firing Herm now and then hiring a HC after the Super Bowl?

Frazod 01-21-2009 09:22 AM

Damn, Robinson to Michigan and Cunninham to Detroit.

Dark ****ing day for anybody who's a fan of both.

Are you giving them 12 players just to make it fair?
