Shakey's in OP had a pizza eating contest when I was about 15 years old. My buddy and I rode our bikes up there to see how much damage we could do. I didn't last long but my buddy came in 2nd, eating 20+ pieces (I forget the total). The winner ate one more slice for the win. When we left, the winner was in the parking lot puking. My buddy still claims victory to this day since he didn't puke.

Personally, I can't eat lots of food in one sitting. A couple decent sized burgers and fries is about all I can do, and I'm a big guy.

Way back when Taco Bell dropped their taco prices to 49¢ I ate a dozen in one sitting. I wouldn't do that again if they were free.

I can't remember the exact name of them, but Taco Bell used to have these huge combo meals where you'd get like 8 tacos, 4 burritos, a mexican pizza, and a dessert.

One time I got stoned and put down all of that.

I believe you are thinking of the Grande meal. I came here to post that I once ate a whole one the day before I deployed to Iraq. That was a long flight the next day....

Probably 20 or so jack-in-the-box tacos.

One time I smoked some weed that my boss gave me ( cuz it was lent and I had given up alcohol). I don't really smoke, so I got feeling weird and got the munchies. I drove to Jack in the Box. Now, the Jack in the Box was one block away. Seriously! One block over and just up to the main street, it was on the corner, like 600 yards away.
The drive seemed like ten minutes! I kept thinking, " damn! Jack in the Box is FAR!"
I finally got there and it seemed like there was all this stuff on the menu board I had never had. I said, out loud, " oh my god... All this stuff! Yes!"
I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich meal with onion rings and Oreo shake, a jalapeño poppers, curly fries, sourdough Jack, chocolate shake, a taco, and piece of cheesecake. I think that was it, I do know that the total was $18.13. That, I do remember.
My wife came home later, I was sitting on the floor watching TV with all this on the coffee table. She walks in, takes a long look says, "what the...did you smoke that weed from your boss?!"

When I was a teenager I had no trouble at all eating an 18" pizza. Today, three slices would do me in. As any parent of an adolescent boy can attest, they are bottomless pits.

Not the same place, obviously. Pizza Shuttle is ****ing tiny, they don't even accept credit cards, you have to pay cash or use a check with like an extra $0.25 fee, hahaha.

Oh, and **** The Wheel! That place is so overrated, the only thing it has going for it is the location. Pyramid Pizza on 9th street was the shit too, they used to have these coupons where you could get a massive pizza for $7, they have the BEST cheese and dough, oh God.

Of course, if you're going quantity, nothing beats the Bigfers at Shuttle. There's also Wheat State Pizza, which has the best ingredients of any other cheap pizza places.

I miss Lawrence :(
