Damn that 7 years of post-secondary education!! Damn it all to hell!!! Stupid scholarships and hard work.

You oughta see the pricetag on 2-ton paperweight currently sitting in my garage.

Spare me.

To each his own, I don't feel it's worth the pricetag for some sunglasses.

Heh, I go to Target and buy two pairs of "Ironman" brand at a time for $20 a piece. I'm real hard on them though. They usually last about a year or so before I lose them in a lake, step on them, sit on them, etc. I cant afford to buy expensive ones.

It just amazes me someone needs a $200 pair of sunglasses to make themselves feel better. You got the cash go for it, I'm not spending that much for something I can get for 10 bucks at walmart.

So do you eat dinner on a piece of plywood held up by rough cut 2x4s?

Because that will hold your plate up just as well as a dining room table.

Though it's important to point out that even this analogy doesn't quite work because the $10 wal-mart sunglasses don't block light as well and aren't nearly as comfortable as the expensive ones whereas your plywood table would certainly hold a plate just as effectively.

Take the socialist horseshit over to the DC forum.

This is true.

I've found it often manifests itself in self-righteous message board posts.

The last pair of $10 sunglasses that I owned actually developed (and quickly, I might add) a ripple in the tint, which made you feel like you were ****ed up because objects were distorted.

Safe to drive with those...

In fairness, I had intended to come across as a cock about it from the very start; so I apologize if I'm just starting down that road.

I've said my piece.

You picked up the alarmist attitude quickly. Just because I think paying for a $200 pair of sunglasses is stupid I'm a socialist?

it's okay, he's a friend, as are you. I usually defend people, probably moreso than i should. Sometimes, it's not worth the headache, I just don't think Chase meant it, like you took it.

I go to Walmart sporting section and get a pair of Renegades. They’re polarized, UV stable, very light and comfortable. Plus when I lose them over the side of my boat I’m not watching >$100 sink to the bottom of a lake.

I hold no ill will to his opinion. He has the right to his opinion just as much as I do.
