ROFL, so the best fighter shouldnt be able to fight on his terms? and the UFC wanted to lock him up for 6 fights. i'm pretty sure he would do a 1 or 2 fight deal.

BUT that would have him going back to russia with the UFC championship belt

Haters will hate.

Ummmm you're the one hating on Fedor.

He is a great fighter but don't try to tell me he wants to fight the best. He has had that chance and decided not to. He can be King of the second string.

Yeah, tell us all how Fedor has claimed that he wants to fight the best. Because CLEARLY he doesn't.

Peyton Manning wouldnt go play in the CFL if he was offered 1 Trillion Dollars. Lets put it that way.

That is why most want to see this. Lesnar has some Clay/Ali in his persona. Some will pay to root for him, most others will pay to see him get his ass kicked. He really does not bother me and his cocky act adds interest. He is fighting a guy that has the size that he cannot just run over. That said I have never seen a man that big move as fast or have the type of agility he displays. Carwin has the striking ability to end it with a shot. It is a much needed match up because the biggest badest sells. That is what happened to boxing the heavyweights became a group of also rans. The lighter weight fighters are fun to watch but if you want to draw the casual fan it takes the big boys in a hyped match IMO

For some reason I think this could be one of the better main events UFC has put on in some time. Most of the one's lately seem to not live up to the hype. I can't think of a great one since Machido/Rua 1.

I'm not even a big Fedor fan dumbass. I think his management is the problem and that he has surrounded himself with people who don't have cementing his legacy in mind.

That said, the guy has crushed virtually everyone that he's been put up against. Until someone beats him, he's the best.

See above.

Always. Because big guys bring devastation. Little guys are fun to watch and they are scrappy, but people want to see people get knocked out. And there is a reason why size DOES matter in a fight, and why there are more knockouts at 205 and HW than all the other divisions combined.

I have never liked Lesnar. Even before his stupid antics after the Mir win. I understand hating to lose, but Mir said nothing that deserved that kind of disrespect and the fans pay his paycheck and he flipped them off for booing. Well yeah they booed you acted like an asshole. I think Lesnar is a complete asshole and I honestly hope that Carwin causes him to have re constructive facial surgery.

You are most likely to young to remember Clay/Ali in his prime. He was an arrogant, brash, disrespectful asshole. He was hated and rightfully so. He admitted he molded himself after Gorgeous George a famous pro wrestler from the 50s. He was a womanizing draft dodging blowhard and his religious conversion was laughable. It was amusing to watch the reinvention of Ali into the beloved hero he is thought of today. He sold more pay for view and tickets to people who wanted nothing more than to see him get his lippy ass kicked. It is an age old shtick and Lesnar is proving as is Mayweather is in boxing that it still sells today~

It definitely sells, there's no doubt about that. As you noted, a lot of people will buy just to see if Lesnar gets crushed. I'm one of them. I wanted to see him get smashed into oblivion and I find it hard to fathom how anyone could root for the guy. I could understand how back in the day the black community could get behind Ali. But Lesnar isn't a minority with racial tensions in the air. He's just an asshole. And I can't wait to watch Carwin cave his face in.
