the d would have given up a whole lot less if they weren't on the damn field the whole game. i'm pumped bout the win, but our QB and playcalling pretty much sucked from beginning to end.

That be what I'm saying.

I be sayin' that I ain't knockin' the brotha', I just be sayin' that if you wanna' crown his ass then crown his ass. But it's week one and Dex be all goin' down on first contact and shit on offense and wasn't particularly impressive outside of a return that wasn't as amazing as ya'll cats is making it out to be. I hope he earn dat crown though.

Hootie 09-14-2010 12:10 AM

there were good playcalls...and horrible playcalls

I think the idea was...

"hey...bad weather...lets make them beat us rather than let Cassel beat us..."

which is a problem but it's a problem I don't want to think about right now =)

Look what Reaper is saying is fine. McCluster had a really great return but the real greatness of it was blocking, the play itself was great all around. It wasn't a great individual effort the play was executed well from top to bottom.

Arenas had some more impressive individual returns even though they didn't pop big, what the hell is this argument even about?

Thanks for the info! I wonder if they're incorrect or CBS?

You would think NFL.com would be right. It doesn't really matter though the D played very good tonight for the most part. Definitely bend but don't break.

It was also refreshing seeing them actually cover their best player even if they had to triple team him

This is the link where I got my stats.

Out of curiosity, where are you seeing less? Not trying to be a dick, I'd just like another source in the future if CBS is incorrect.

Try deducting yards lost by sack next time, expert.

Not nearly as tough as your memory is about tv shows.

Hootie 09-14-2010 12:12 AM

the funny thing is...

my co-workers officially think I'm a football genius...

we were real dead on wednesday and we were having dude time and we were talking about football...

and I told them that Seattle and KC were going to pull upsets...and these are the reasons why:

and I listed them

and everything I said happened down to the very last detail...

today my friend was like...

"man if the Chiefs really pull that upset I'm never going to doubt you again!"

this was a VERY good week in terms of me being right...and it's not always like that ;)

seriously

where is all this credential you think you have coming from?

how do you have credential to judge my credential?

huh?

answer me that

Roger Saffold, Terrance Knighton, Matt Forte, Jonathan Goff, Thomas DeCoud, Cliff Avril, Brandon Tate, Thomas Morestead, Tyvon Branch, Jasper Brinkley, Cary Harris, Carl Nicks, among others.

Those are all starters I've gotten in the 3rd-7th rounds of the Mock in the last couple of years. There are others out there too that I'm just forgetting about.

Uh, those weren't listed, Mr. Nice Guy.
