UPDATE. Courtney Alexis Stodden’s mother tells Radar Online that she gave approval for the couple’s marriage. Krista Stodden tells news that Hutchison is loved by Stodden’s parents.
Krista notes, that despite criticism, Courtney Alexis Stodden is a “good Christian”. Krista also gives revealing details about her daughter to news Monday. She says her daughter was a virgin at the time of marriage. She also wants critics to know that Courtney Alexis Stodden prides herself in a healthy lifestyle. “She has real breasts, real lips, she’s not plastic.”
Online at YouTube, remarks are mixed for Stodden’s music. Her song “Don’t Put it On Me” prompted some listeners to compare it to “Friday”.” “I want you to know, that in another time, we could be friends” she sings in a boat alongside a dog with pink hair dye. As of Monday, the video has generated two thousand views featuring one hundred dislikes and eight likes.
UPDATE 2: Both of Stodden’s parents have come out in support of her marriage. They both confirm to news that they gave their support to their daughter’s marriage. They also give top praise to Hutchison, calling him the best man they have ever met. Stodden’s father, who is younger than Hutchison, says he is honored that Hutchison married his daughter. Neither parent confirmed to news how long Hutchison and Stodden had dated before marriage.
Stodden, herself, has yet to comment about the national attention her marriage is generating. Online she has previously detailed her battles against hatred. Courtney hopes her music will inspire others to overcome negativity and to achieve their goals. |
