Ehhh I think you could get something good for him. Unfortunately I think we are seeing what he will be.

Yes I am... only if we unload Frenchy and his full contract in the same trade. Time to shake things up.

HAHAH so where are all the homers at now that said this team was going to be worth a shit this year? 10 years out at the break, probably even worse than last couple years at this time. Same old song and dance, yeah, we have young prospects, but absolutely no pitching to speak of. Because Duffy and Paulino are out next year, this team legitimately needs 5 freaking pitchers.

Kill yourself

Bowser 07-08-2012 01:10 PM

Who replaces Hosmer? Billy? No thanks.

You don't trade a guy who's only 22 going through a sophomore slump with a ceiling as high as Hosmer's.

Ass.

Are you high? Hosmer is 22 years old. His swing has lengthened as a result of him pressing. When he shortens it back up and learns how to deal with the adversity he is facing on the Royals, he will be a phenom.

Who are these homers you speak of? Everyone on this board is pretty realistic and most of us said this wasn't our year, although we hoped they would keep it together for a bit longer this year. We also didn't expect to have such pitching injuries. But there is also no excuse for our shitty starting pitching, even with the injuries. Just a shit rotation that was put together.

Salvy!

Perez commits an error to get the final out

Who knows that he will actually ever shorten it back up? People say sophmore slump, I say the great players don't suffer through sophmore slumps like this. I looked at Frank Thomas... yeah he didn't suffer a sophmore slump.

:spock:

Great analysis, he somehow has a great half a season at 21 years of old, but by 22 he has regressed in half a season and he likely is topped out because of it.

stonedstooge 07-08-2012 01:17 PM

I'd rather package Frenchy, Yost, Hudler and Psycho in a trade
