that's not fair Carr is going up against far and away more talented WRs.

Routt is covering garbage. Julio Jones will be the best he faces all season

Derrick Johnson and Standford Routt and Jamaal Charles and everyone else on this team sucks too. Because they are also all inconsistent.

Heh? Anyone on the defense is responsible for their performances the first two weeks, they earned them by playing undisciplined football. Especially DJ. The defense got behind b/c they were undisciplined, and dug a deeper hole by pressing and not sticking to their assignments. IMO, b/c they had no faith Cassel could comeback from behind, so they needed to be the ones that did it.

Playing undisciplined doesn't make a player bad, just exercising bad judgement. Missing assignments b/c you were actually completely lost is different.

Good points. I think you're probably correct.

That is actually Belichick/Saban philosophy that Crennel learned/adopted.

Herp derp

He only had 3 catches and "fumbled" one of them.

Now, dance.

There's nothing to dance about.

Dex played well for two quarters against Atlanta.

Rest of his season? Shite.

good thing we run a zone blocking scheme and there is no such thing as assignments then.

So when Lilja let's a guy through untouched on a stunt, that's okay huh?

and how many times a game does this happen?

surely not as many as Brandon Alberts false starts? Or Jon Asamoah getting his shit pushed in by Kyle Williams?

He faced Roddy White most of the game and then they moved Julio Jones to his side...I agree though...the Saints have crappy receivers.

nope.

seriously, it is early zone, man-press on the latter downs. This is because Saban/Bill/Crennel believe in blitzing on 3rd with man coverage, not from zone like some other 3-4 guys like Labeau or Capers.

Lance Moore and Devery Henderson are not good

Colston has 1 leg.

their hall of fame QB and the scheme makes them better than they actually are

Kyle Williams is a man child. Albert's false starts are annoying. There has been plenty of blame to spread, but one good game in memory for Lilja in the last how many games doesn't fix the problem...

Sorter 09-24-2012 10:56 PM

The philosophy behind it is as well is that you're going to play press to re-route receivers. By blitzing from man-press on 3rd down, the QB has to wait even longer for receivers to get open.

Yep. Get 'em into a passing situation on 3rd, lock' em down and pin the ears back. It's why run defense is critical to the success of the defense.

Blind and drunk I take it?

You obviously haven't watched the Cowboys play this year. Carr hasn't faced anybody worth a damn except for Vincent Jackson and if you watched even a few plays from that game, you would know he mailed it in Sunday.

Have a great night making a fool of yourself.

I'm gonna hit the sack.

Nice job on Lilja, though.
