IIRC, you could buy 2 billboards for the price of ONE full page ad in the KC Star.

I think the Billboard and Newspaper ads are a dumb idea.

Do geographical web ads with Google. Target sports sites, blogs, etc in the KC area. Have the ad link to a page with all your bitching and moaning about Pioli and our QB who is on his way out of town anyway.

Some of the nerds on here could do some kick ass graphics work.

Could make it funny, make the ad look political. Say that Cassel and Pioli = Legitimate Rape or something like that. Not only would you get the sports coverage, but you would get political coverage. Now I do not condone this idea, as I'm the only member of the Scott Pioli band wagon, but its something you should think about.

No one reads newspapers anymore, why would they charge so much?

Have you seen the giant glass building sitting right off the freeway in downtown KC? These people have bills whether your ads work or not. It's not cheap to print and distribute newspapers - not even when your freelancers donate their writing and photos and your offices are in your own home. Can you imagine maintaining giant printing presses, paying staff, and making the note on a $20 million facility?
