So does Arrowhead.

I got a kick out of the "We have a great room". WTF was that suppose to mean. You have a huge room with a big TV that you set and eat nachos in while watching things on that TV because it sure hasn't been game film.

WHAT?????

Its not like he can speak the truth, like he brings an actual arm and possibly a little accuracy (compared to Cassel, not in reality). Or that his version of suck will be fresh and new like a summer breeze!

Cassel is like the rich kid on the highschool football team who thinks he doesn't deserve to get benched because his daddy is the richest guy in town.

Hopefully, the guy rides off into the sunset, never to return to Arrowhead Stadium after the season ends.

Hopefully he returns as a backup starting somewhere else. then we can hear how classless kc is some more when he gets sacked and booed

Cassel has single handily lost us several games over the years. His last game against the Ravens pretty much summed up his entire career here. Hell, even the ravens were joking about how bad Cassel was. Ray Lewis said that they knew that the Chiefs couldn't pass on them...Ed Reed kept saying how Cassel kept audibleing to run. I think Cassel threw a grand total of 10 or 12 times that entire game! The fact is, he has 14 (or is it 15?) total turnovers on his own. That is more than many times have this year combined! Over half of all our turnovers this year have come from one person...Not that I blame Cassel for all those turnovers. There were a few bobbled passes from Cassel that should have been caught by the receivers (maybe 2 or 3 balls)...but 14 turnovers is no coincidence. It is in fact the result of a bad player who continually makes bad choices that ends up costing his team the game.

You should have plenty of experience at it anyways.

Obviously, it's his modesty.

One thing Quinn brings is more experience. Unlike Cassel, Quinn started for his College team, he was a high draft pick because he was a good player coming out of College. Cassel has always been a career backup...

I don't suspect that we will in fact be even marginally improved with Quinn though. He is a project QB at this point in his career. He does have better physical attributes than Cassel. He has more zip to his passes, better pocket awareness, etc. In the end, like Cassel, he will help the chiefs in the only area that matters now; the draft. :)

Q: You’re just one play away from being back out there. Is that how you have to look at it?

CASSEL: “Absolutely. You’re not going to take the fight out of me, so I’m going to continue to fight, compete in whatever capacity that is. Again, if that opportunity comes up again, I’ll be ready.”

Oh, I get it. Are you suggesting that your one Brady Quinn injury away from getting back on the field? So in other words players deep down wish injury to players so they can get the opportunity to play. Hmmmm that seems kind of ironic.

I'm thinking NFL players wish that if they are not the starters then they wish an injury would happen to the starter so they can get that opportunity. **** you Eric Winston **** you you POS ****ing ****.

Realization of a situation is not the same as wishing for it. You're bringing an awful lot into an innocent statement.
