Meh.

Not really. This one didn't cost the Detroit Lions a win...terrible call in a different context.

DaFace 11-22-2012 01:57 PM

Yet. It certainly could.

Hootie 11-22-2012 01:57 PM

his elbow was down though...oh yeah so was his knee...

TOUCHDOWN FORSETT

I started him in fantasy, too. (No I didn't)

Atlanta-Arizona game last week.

Per Peter King in MMQB:

"But the NFL has instituted automatic reviews on all turnovers, with an odd rule attached: If a coach throws the challenge flag on a turnover before the review has begun, the coach gets a 15-yard unsportsmanlike penalty, and the replay-review is negated. If the officials on the field have already been buzzed, notifying them a review must take place on the field, there is a penalty but the review goes on. "

That rule is even more stupid that college basketball's reeruned possession arrow.

Agree.

But it hasn't.

That call gave the losing team a win and the winning team a loss.

This call changed the game but it is still anyone's game.

I got Houston -3, apparently so do a ton of other people.

nobody gives a **** about your ffb team. The nfl is being ruined by stupid rules.

Hootie 11-22-2012 01:59 PM

That's like a junior high rule...I don't even know what it was instated.

What were they trying to accomplish? And why did they even think to make that a rule? That's what is most confusing to me.

I agree with you. I'm sorry for talking about my fantasy team.

what ****ing difference does it make if someone throws a flag during a review?

just pick it up...it's not like throwing a ninja star at a ref

Except it wasn't a TO at all.

Hootie 11-22-2012 02:01 PM

I'd say the main reason the NFL has gone form popular to a juggernaut is because of fantasy football (and gambling, of course)
