Dallas fans are stupid...and Dallas fans are also like the Yankees fans of the NFL. So therefore Romo gets a shit ton of negative press at all times any time he throws any sort of an interception and you have all of the idiot Dallas fans pile on him and then everyone who isn't a Dallas fan absolutely hates Dallas so then you get all of the anti-Dallas fans to pile on him and then it has just turned a very good (not great), but very good QB into one of the most underrated QB's of my lifetime.
He has a plus arm, he has plus mobility, he manipulates the pocket well and has great pocket presence and has come up int he 4th quarter many times...as well as the only Cowboy to show up in the playoffs against the Giants the year the Giants upset the Patriots in the Super Bowl the first time (he played one hell of a game and was a Crayton drop away on a sensational scramble and throw from winning that game and forever changing Eli's history)...
He's a good QB. Probably fringe top 10. I understand the hate because Dallas is "America's Team" which also makes them the most scrutinized team in the NFL and he's the easiest target.
He's a little older now so I no longer want him on the Chiefs but if we were closer and he were available he definitely offers a contending team a 3-5 year window. He's definitely good enough to win in the playoffs if he had a supporting cast. |
