I don't think it is. I'm of the opinion that luck is nearly at his ceiling now.

Not at all. Both were 'can't miss'.

Since I'm already branded the idiot, I don't want to start a new thread to ask....

Who is the popular pick for the second round?

Here's the thing.

Smith may only be the 5th best overall player in the draft. Maybe only the 10th best.
However, he's the best QB.

And since QB is the most important position on the field, and couple that fact with the fact that the Chiefs need a QB in the worst way, you damn well better take him #1.

Teo if hes available. And youre not an idiot. You should know the CP rule, don't let idiots let you think youre an idiot.

There is no such thing as being "worth a first rounder" but not "the first pick."

Unless you have multiple first rounders, it means jack squat where your first round pick is going to be.

Here's the truth: Geno Smith will not be available when we pick again. So, therefore, if we want him as our quarterback, then it doesn't matter if we pick him first or 32nd. There is no such thing as "reaching" within a round. The only time you are reaching for a player is when you could have drafted him in the next round or later. Other than that, who gives a shit?

That's my draft philosophy. Get your guy. **** value. Just get your guy.

Who cares that Aaron Rodgers was drafted late and Peyton Manning went #1? They have the same number of Super Bowls. Does that make Rodgers a "better" pick? **** no. GET YOUR GUY

That would be great, but I'd be shocked if he fell that far.

I would be more than happy if the Chiefs traded back into the first for Te'o, but that's only if we have our QB already.

that's not a stupid question at all (and you should know by now, we're just messing with you. haven't you been here long enough to have a thick enough skin, and long enough to know that we only **** with those that we care about?)

MY answer would be WR, S, TE, CB, or MAYBE even OLB (rush-backer--never can have enough pass-rushers). get the best available among these positions. there is no wrong answer unless you're getting dexter mccluster 2.0

ptlyon 12-27-2012 11:56 AM

WTF get a WR if there is noone to throw to him?
