Since I'm already branded the idiot, I don't want to start a new thread to ask....
Who is the popular pick for the second round? |

Smith may only be the 5th best overall player in the draft. Maybe only the 10th best. However, he's the best QB. And since QB is the most important position on the field, and couple that fact with the fact that the Chiefs need a QB in the worst way, you damn well better take him #1. |

There is no such thing as being "worth a first rounder" but not "the first pick."
Unless you have multiple first rounders, it means jack squat where your first round pick is going to be. Here's the truth: Geno Smith will not be available when we pick again. So, therefore, if we want him as our quarterback, then it doesn't matter if we pick him first or 32nd. There is no such thing as "reaching" within a round. The only time you are reaching for a player is when you could have drafted him in the next round or later. Other than that, who gives a shit? That's my draft philosophy. Get your guy. **** value. Just get your guy. Who cares that Aaron Rodgers was drafted late and Peyton Manning went #1? They have the same number of Super Bowls. Does that make Rodgers a "better" pick? **** no. GET YOUR GUY |

MY answer would be WR, S, TE, CB, or MAYBE even OLB (rush-backer--never can have enough pass-rushers). get the best available among these positions. there is no wrong answer unless you're getting dexter mccluster 2.0 |
WTF get a WR if there is noone to throw to him?
