Its way too good for him unless he opts to be a human spittoon as well. Then they have my blessing to keep him.

Varys is done here. D-O-N-E.

Clark seemed pissed but I didn't catch the death to Pioli vibe like what is being touted around CP. I'm guessing I didn't catch the presser or wherever Clark really kicked Pioli in the junk. Hope for the best but we shall see.

I listened not particularly looking for or against it, and the vibe was definitely there.

Yup Pioli no longer has control of this team if he stays or not. If he does stay it is in a role no different than he was at New England. He would be basically the top personnel guy answering to the head coaches wishes. That is why it will be more along the lines of a Holmgren, Cowher, Gruden, Billick or Reid type hire imo. With that said I think it is all legal stuff being hammered out before he is out the door.

I dont buy that at all.

If they were working on getting Pioli out the door, why is it that Clark is interviewing candidates that have connections to Pioli?

Does Clark really want a 4-8 HC from college that people are begging he takes to save the college?

Except that everything he said today is obviously complete utter bullshit.

Pioli is still GM

Koetter is coming in for an interview Tuesday.

Ferentz is coming in Wednesday.

That's all anyone really needs to know to prove Clark is talking out of his ass.

Time will tell I guess. If we keep Pioli and hire Ferentz, Clark can eat a bag of dicks.

Pasta Little Brioni 12-31-2012 07:48 PM

I can't believe you dipshits really believe Ferentz is coming here on Wednesday. That report came from a cook at 5 guys for the most part.

Well it came up last night and was promptly shutdown, but it keeps popping up 24 hours later. It's either true, or twitter has gone full post apocalyptic CP.

okay but he's had all season long to do that. Why now?

It's possible that Clark arranged for a couple of interviews before he knew that he wanted to drop Pioli and change the organizational structure. Doesn't hurt anything to keep those scheduled commitments.
