ole Fat Andy clearly showed this season he could get production out of a young rookie QB and a nobody 7th round RB

so I mean, this dude is going to get the best out of our draft picks on offense, and I dont know if any other coach out there besides the Cowher dream team could also do that.

Dont you dare say Chip Kelly either

Finding a good QB makes a coach improve pretty quickly.

WHY whould he want to come to KC? Whay would any established coach want to get caught up in the situation with the GM?

**** chip Kelly. If someone hires him, it's a big risk. If he doesn't work out, it's gonna be like starting from scratch after he leaves. I wouldn't hire that guy, but I know lots of teams would.

Tread carefully.

Link?

They also told us that Pioli was fired and had already packed up his bags.

CoMoChief 01-01-2013 10:11 PM

Top3

Andy Reid
Bruce Arians
Chip Kelly

I'm saying more in the media per say.

The media probably doesn't want to lose their fellow media buddies...also it might be a hush hush scenario between colleges because if it doesn't work out it could effect future contracts because of the coach possibly wanting to bail partway through a deal.

Did you ever think that might still be the case.

After reading this list form CoMo, how many people will be jumping off these bandwagons?

BossChief 01-01-2013 10:15 PM

So was I...also Billick and Gruden.

Typo on colleges. Meant colleagues.

I'm going back through everything as we speak and trying to think of other possibilities.

My #1 candidate is Arians, then Cowher if he wants to come back. But I would be doing a full court press on Arians agent.

On offense? The two grudens will and can, especially once gruden moves to a spread design. Holmgren can and will -- stellar track record grooming qbs and he built an elite offensive line in Seattle. Reid's track record with qbs is okay. Not great. His track record with offensive lines is miserable. He isn't an offensive guru by any stretch. He is a guy whose success has been based on a defense that is a shadow of what it once was, mobile qbs, and a multi threat rb.

He's not a bad hire. I'm just baffled about why a guy we all bitched about a few months ago is suddenly the hot candidate. I still question if he can win games without Jim Johnson running his defense.
