Don't have a ****ing clue. Tried 3 random server last night and they all were different.

As for spawning the same guy every time YES it works like that as long as you stay on the same server hive. There are lots of public hive servers, but I play on a private hive server where you can pick 1 of 3 servers to play on all within that hive so your gear is the same on all 3. MAKE SENSE? :P

Download and use DayZ Commander to find your server and launch you into game. It gives you actual readable information server information and makes getting into the server you want to really, really easy.

Download and use Mumble if you want to voice chat (private chat with your group)... You can voice chat in game, but it's proximity based and totally open.
Download Mumble.

Not decided... I'm not sure we want to jump into a private hive... Public is just easier.. but definitely one are Dallas area that is hardly (or not populated).
