IMO this is the best draft in a long time for KC.

Ford is a top 15 talent. Probably only got him because of the Bridgewater/Manziel slippage.

I've seen 2 mocks that had Phillip Gaines going in the first rd. (Gaines is likely as good as or better than Denard for the bump and go defense we run, VERY good trail technique on tape)

De' thomas was seen as the best player in the nation coming out of HS, clearly a good pick for where we got him(mccluster was top of the second rd)

Aaron Murray is obvious. one year earlier would have been a 1-2 rd pick...

And one of the 2 O-linemen we picked up will probably start eventaully.

I hope you are right about this!! :thumb: I would really hurt to tank on another 1st rounder. Hopefully get some quality starts out of the rest of the group as well.

Yep, Bridewater will be one of the 3 biggest busts in NFL history.

Walter and Charlie both believe KC will pick somewhere within the top 12, so just look at the quality prospects in that range and make your own opinion on that. Pick range is the true tell if a draftnik is shitting Montezuma's revenge on a team.
