The biggest problem, IMO, with Cinci chili is that they call it chili.

Met the red hot chili peppers at white castle in armourdale after their concert once, they even let us kids chill on their bus for a bit. |

Yeah, both Skyline and Gold Star (basically) the same recipe. Yes, there is allspice and cloves but there is also cinnamon in the recipe - the last time I was through there (some 15 years ago) the guy doing the cooking was taking a smoke break and I asked "what the hell was in that stuff" :) I mean, it's not terrible or anything - but it most DEFINITELY takes some getting used to. Wattery as hell.....but still great on a dog with cheese. |

A little off-topic but I had the pleasure of meeting Flea about 5 years ago. One of the most gracious guys I ever met. |
There are differences in Country and Chicken Fried Steak. I think most people are thinking Chicken looking at the pictures posted.

:) You know....now that you mention it....if you look at it just right....it DOES resemble the aftermath of a rough night on the town.....When I was in Viet Nam, we would refer to that as the Vietnamese two-step. |

I only tried SC in a can - I didn't know what it was that I had bought.
Honestly the broth (if you even want to call it broth) resembled shitty Brunswick Stew flavor - which is very popular down here in GA. I never like Brunswick Stew at all! |
