The finst thing that immediately stood out to me was how he always kept his eyes down field, even under pressure.

Here, let me help.
Arguing about where the problem with this team is, whether it's Reid, Smith, Sutton, Def. or any other part of it is like saying one of these women is ugly.

Go ahead.....which one is ugly ?

I think so.

When its all said and done and the Chiefs finish with 8-10 wins, maybe a one and done road game, the main blame will go to Sutton and the D. This team was supposed to take that next step and challenge Denver for the division and/or be regarded as at least the 3rd or 4th best team in the AFC. Not saying I thought that, but that was the vibe heading into the season opener.

And yeah I do think the Chiefs will put together enough wins against sub par teams to be in the mix for a one and done playoff game. The AFC is full of mediocre/bad teams and after collecting some wins against some crap/mediocre teams (ala Texans) we will all see this team isnt horrible its just average.

The D has been a big disappointment though. Supposedly this was the year with everyone healthy they were going to be one of the better units in the league. The defensive numbers will improve as the level of competition declines but they will still not live up to the hype the were given.

And yeah Alex will probably skate by with Sutton and the D taking the blame but really if this team was going to be good it had to be because of a very good D, forcing turnovers, giving the O short fields (texans game) Only idiot Chiefs fans believed a game manager QB was going to play a big part in this team being good. The only teams that ever make any noise with Alex Smith type QBs have great defenses and consistent running games.

Reid and Dorsey should be held accountable for hitching the wagon to a game manager caliber QB. Stop gap is fine. ALex Smith or bust is reeruned if you want to be a real contender.

Yes you have to be able to score points... but this theory that offense is all that matters isn't right. When Aaron Rodgers won, he had a top 5 defense. He hasn't since, and how many titles has he won? The Patriots had the 8th ranked defense last year. The Seahawks have had one of the best defenses in modern history the last two years.

And even the teams that won with poor defensive seasons played well in the playoffs. The 2011 Giants were terrible on defense during the year, but allowed 14 ppg in the playoffs. The 2006 Colts were awful on defense, they got eviscerated by Jacksonville at the end of the regular season. In the playoffs they allowed 16 ppg and shut down the Chiefs and Ravens. This idea you can win shootouts every week isn't right. Even the 99 Rams won the NFC title game 11-6. At some point your defense has to step up and carry a game. Anyone who watched about 4 seconds of the Vermeil era should know this.

It's because 'stop, chiefs' is drunk when he posts on this board. All of his statements are reckless and he seldom backs things up with actual truth. A troll that has survived on this forum for a long, long time.

The last 10 Super Bowls champions were on the winning end of these scores in the playoffs and/or SB:

35-31
28-24
38-35
34-31
48-21
31-25
31-28
35-24
27-23
23-20
38-34
41-27
24-21

If you can't score more than 21 points in the playoffs you are not winning a championship:

Last 8 superbowls the winning team gave up an average score of 19.8

But you will give Reid one? The guy soley responsible for Smiths play on the field gets a pass? That's Cheifs level of stupid.

RunKC 10-06-2015 10:43 PM

Andy has earned a one year pass if he makes some serious changes i.e. new QB, relinquished play calling duties and a new DC. Back-to-back winning seasons is a pass for one bad year.

The Alex experiment has got to end though. And his OL has got to show marked improvement in 2016.

We've seen him eat sacks in field goal range.

We've seen him stare down the rush with receivers open down field.

We've seen him go a full calendar year without a TD to a WR.

Cut the shit. It's the ****ing QB.

Yet the HC who HANDPICKED this QB is more responsible for those things than Smith is.

It's the ****ing HCs fault smithnis a tard. He is doing exactly what Reid wants him to do otherwise you would see changes.

So sick of people excusing Reid just to blame Smith.

Alex is doing the same shit he was doing long before Reid ever came into his life.

And Reid is doing the same shit he has been doing long before he wasted picks on Smith. They are a match made in hell for each other. Perfect HC/QB combo.

Reid isn't the one who wasted picks on Smith. He's also not the one that extended him to $45M guaranteed.
