Without Brady they draft who and do what?

People make their own luck my good man....

Furthermore it's not just Brady and you know it. Put Brady behind a terrible O-line and he'd be a heck of a lot less stunning.

48-4 at home...

Wow, that's impressive.

Edit: Their STHs must be very happy with Mr. Kraft's product.

Brady and Belichick will be up there with a few greats as one of the best tandem in NFL history.

Belichick also makes great adjustments at halftime. Besides, he gets great production out of his players.

Dolphins going to try a 63 yarder.

Meh, you don't make your own luck into a HOF QB in the 6th round. Sorry but thats just not going to happen regardless of preparation or else you wouldn't wait until the 6th round.

Drew Bledsoe wasn't winning games like this.

Once you have a HOF QB you can be much less precise in other areas and be wildly successful. If you don't get guys like Dion Lewis and Julian Edelman are good because of Brady then you don't get it.

It's like a fairy tale.

Oh okay. Great point. Guess that would also apply to Friday night.

Every time the Patriots are on defense, the sound on my TV stops working.

This is what 98.762% of people don't get... Brady is, well, awesome, but what Mr. Kraft and BB put around him is where the magic is. From what I've seen these players come in knowing that failure isn't an option (the tone Mr. Kraft sets throughout the franchise), and these guys actually give 100% in practice and on every play. Most know that Tom and BB are the only "forever" parts, but they know they only get to remain a part as long as they give 100% and never piss off the boss. It's so simple to want, but it takes an owner like Mr. Kraft to hire a BB who makes it happen. They are ruthless at times, but I sure would like to try it here in KC for a while.

It certainly doesn't hurt to find a HOF QB in the 6th, I'll agree to that. But some team simply pass-over other HoF QBs. Tom's not the first.

And no QB will be a HoF'er if they play behind an O-line that give then no time. So I don't disagree with your "less precise" comment, but I don't think you were referring to the O-line.

There is zero evidence Kraft sets the tone for anything. Come on man this is a reach of epic proportions.

He hired a good coach who was still on the bubble as far as HC success goes and then they hit the lottery with Brady.

Its been a giant piece of cake since then.

The combo of Bellichick and Brady is epic, but really Kraft is not responsible for any of it other than not screwing it up by giving Bill free reign.

They have had some bad OL that have cost them at times, like any team that has been around for this long.

Right now they are on 3rd string on the left side and doing Ok because Brady is a machine at his point.

They sent a WR to the PB, . . . at CB.

End of story.

Their trophy case sort of tells me he's set the tone I'm suggesting. Add to that the things he's let BB do and it's further evidence that the tone is very-much a win-at-all-cost tone.

But yes, his selection of BB was a very solid decision. And getting Brady in the 6th proved to work very well for them, but not the 31 other teams who didn't.
