All I know is that was the worst Super Bowl game in recent memory.

Bland offensively, no real special teams plays, no superstar excitement.

If it had been a regular season game, I would have changed the channel.

The whole thing lacked any energy, IMO.

and yet the world got the warm feeling it wanted !

Peyton won the SB !!

It had the excitement and execution of a ****ing preseason game.

Very true. What also didn't help matters was that it was not a fairly called game imo.

That is because he is honest...the officiating headquarters in NYC..not so much.

Why do you think the NFL even has a "central control" for officiating? One source for final say...that can see the same crap we do...and just make up whatever they want.

Who has a motive to control between these two..the guy on TV..or the NFL. My guess is they are going quit having ex officials on broadcasts....

What was up with Cam..not going after that fumble? Late in the game in the SB..down by one score? His actions arent consistent with what was going on in that situation...that was very strange. He was like 'meh"...whatever.

I barely even noticed. We were at Super Bowl party and in all honesty, the guests and conversations were 100x more interesting than the game itself.

Mike Carey is right less often than flipping a coin. He isn't exactly an appeal to authority. Ball never stopped moving.

I can totally understand thinking other was a horrible game to watch. I would feel the same way, but it's my team...so it's exciting.

Alright, moron.

Tell me how someone maintains control of the ball when the hand they are "controlling" it with isn't on the ball when he's rolling around after hitting the ground.

Tell us where it hit the ground with his hand not under it? His hand is under it, so that's a catch. Sure, he rolls around after that, but it never touched the ground.

You've gotta really not want that to be a catch to see a non-catch there. But this is the NFL, they're having the darnedest time defining a catch these days.

Never mind, it's too late now anyway.
