It's hard to do that when the front office has been spending so much of their time and money on fixing the offense that you say is so competitive. Which it isn't. We had all our pieces healthy and we've put a lot of money into our offense, and we still put up a stinker on offense. Alex Smith can carry a bad offense to average. But he can't turn an offense from average to excellent no matter how many weapons you give him.

I agree we should be investing in defense. But unlike you, I understand it's because the defense needs to carry this team. It's amazing that your takeaway is to basically suggest that defense lost us the game today.
