This brings back good memories. When I was 14 in 1975 my dad took me canoeing at the Boundary Waters in Mn. He drove all the way to Duluth that day. The next morning we found this restaurant named Perkins (they hadn't made it to Mo. yet) and enjoyed some excellent pancakes before driving north to start our trip. A few years later they opened one in St. Joe and we went there. It wasn't as good, just an average chain restaurant. Haven't eaten at one in 30 years.

Ah that probably explains it. I went there for lunch last fall and got a "Jethro"

It was a gigantic portion for the price, but the food was so mediocre in taste.

I perfer Smokey D's for BBQ, but we don't have anything in Des Moines that rivials what you can get in KC.

I remember one in Belton. It closed long ago, was stripped down to the studs and is now an IHOP.

I used to **** a girl that worked there in HS.

There was this substitute teacher that was a waitress at the ihop that offered to give me some head. She wasn't bad looking for a middle aged lady, either.
