If Berry has any balls left, he'll get out there Thursday. We need that game.

Any word on if Spencer Ware plans to play?

do the Chiefs use both Williams if Ware is out?

1---Melvin Gordon (knee) returned to Chargers practice Tuesday, getting in a limited session.

There is now a real chance that Gordon returns from his two-game absence against the Chiefs on Thursday. For his part, Gordon has said he expects to be a game-time decision. If Gordon does suit up, it's possible he will not be in for his usual workload, though Austin Ekeler (concussion) is expected to be sidelined.

2---Melvin Gordon (knee) said he is feeling "much better" and expects to be a game-time call for Thursday night's game against the Chiefs.

Gordon is doing very little in practice this week but is pushing to suit up for Thursday's mammoth divisional tilt. There's an increased sense of urgency on the Chargers' behalf to get Gordon back with Austin Ekeler in the concussion protocol. Ultimately, the Bolts are not going to do anything reckless, as Gordon's good health for the playoffs is the real goal.

I had mentioned this in another thread yesterday. This was felt to be because the injury was on the bottom of the heel, as opposed to the Achilles, or attachment point. So the walking motion, where the heel makes contact first, is painful. But sprinting and pivoting, which occurs primarily on the ball of the foot, can still be painless. And the risk of a major injury, ie: Achilles tear is not there. While I can’t vouch for the source, he sounded legit, like a carefully observing physician/orthopedist.

Imagine that, a player pushing hard to suit up for an important game. What a novel concept.

HES GETTING PAID BILLIONS AND REFUSES TO PLAY THROUGH A PAPER CUT WHILE TYREEK IS MAKING 12 CENTS AN HOUR AND IS READY TO PLAY ON AMPUTATED LEGS!

no shit, dude came back from cancer in less time, but for him to miss because of this, means that there is something there he doesnt feel comfortable with. To even question him, is just idiotic.

How does the injury report get filled out if their not allowed to question him? Not only is he above playing he is now above even questioning?

He's one of the dumber posters on here. It's like he only has one thought and he feels the need to bring it up in every thread he goes in.

How is he doing with his battle with a Haglund Deformity?

RINGLEADER 12-12-2018 02:17 AM

Posted somewhere else but if we win and the Pats lose this week we have first seed no matter what happens in the final two games. The starters could basically take a month off if they wanted to (not saying they should, of course, but we need to seize this opportunity)...
