Spent a lot of time in Houma. There a “ditch” that runs through the whole length of town. That thing flooded both sides of the road in a normal rain shower. I can’t imagine the flooding on top of the wind damage.

This is when the true misery begins for people who survived the actual hurricane okay in terms of no personal or property damage... having to survive without A/C in August in New Orleans.

Things are wild down here. We will be without power in the New Orleans area for 3-5 weeks. Commerce that goes up and down the river will have major stalling. There is only travel out, no travel in. It’s just a shame, but for all the blame that people want to level at the energy provider Entergy, they are only playing the hand that is dealt to them.

Prayers and help for the area are much appreciated.
