The eastern 3rd of Iowa is getting pummeled.

Some of the confirmed tornadoes are MASSIVE.

The line in Iowa is starting to flatten and transition to a forward wind event. The real area of concern right now is from northern Arkansas to east central Missouri. St. Louis looks to be right in the crosshairs.

This has been an absolutely incredible day of weather.

And it’s far from done. The northern line may develop into a derecho yet. And there’s going to be tornadoes into Tennessee overnight.

The way this funnel seemed to dissipate, and then reform from about the 1:00 minute mark on is just simply terrifying.

Absolutely insane weather

We had snow
Anywhere between 5-11 inches coming in. I had about 8.
It is wet, and heavy, and I am not sure I can get through what the snow plow just did to the driveway.

At least ours will melt and go away.

I think so, I’m in Cedar Falls. It got crazy last night around 5pm. High straight line winds following the front. Temperature swing has been incredible. Today winds are consistently blowing at 40+.
I live next to a disc golf course and they are having a tournament today. I have no idea how they are going to control their throws today because the wind is going to mess them up. Plus the temperatures are currently in the high 20s.
Glad I missed the cutoff for signing up for this one.
