He's going to the Chiefs. Remember, the SB team with Andy Reid and Mahomes?

This dude will be a top 10 LT by season's end and this contract is gonna look like a steal. Book it.

Orlando Brown had much bigger questions going from RT to LT and we turned that shit into a SB.

ThyKingdomCome15 03-13-2023 12:35 PM

So he had good pass pro numbers at RT and we're moving him to LT paying 20 mil per? That doesn't add up, I'm missing something.

DJ pulls a rabbit out of his ass and now we'll have to hear about it. Yay.

One is a guard and another will be a tackle. Now let's talk QB salaries while you laugh.

That said - I wouldn't have paid him this much. $20 million per is a hell of a gamble on a LT conversion.

It was this or pay another LT conversion named Orlando Brown 23-28 mill

Not to mention Mahomes makes tackles look 100x better than what they are.

This will work out just fine.

Can't remember when Veach and Reid screwed up the Oline.

You'll listen to tales of my greatness and LIKE it, mother****er!!

Dude gets to play next to Thuney. He'll be good.

CaliforniaChief 03-13-2023 12:36 PM

Bring in younger talent and let the chips fall where they may? I'm good with that.

He’s young, durable, and the Chiefs have a proven track record of moving guys around on the offensive line.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Jawaan Taylor had the third-lowest pressure rate allowed (2.5%) among tackles last season.<br><br>Only Tristan Wirfs and Lane Johnson were better. <br><br>He allowed just 16 pressures and 5 sacks last season. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Chiefs?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#Chiefs</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/ChiefsKingdom?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#ChiefsKingdom</a></p>&mdash; Jeff Kerr (@JeffKerrCBS) <a href="https://twitter.com/JeffKerrCBS/status/1635344719764140033?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">March 13, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

If this is who he is, then that sack total is coming way way down with Reid, Mahomes, and Thuney. It’ll be 2 or less.

dlphg9 03-13-2023 12:36 PM

The guy allowed 16 pressures all year. I'm gonna skip the PFF bullshit. All I care about is allowing the least amount of pressures as possible and 16 is a very small amount. Less than 1 pressure a game is damn impressive.

FloridaMan88 03-13-2023 12:37 PM

Also he just spent a season playing in Doug Pederson’s offense… which should make for an easier transition to Andy Reid’s offense than OBJ coming from Baltimore.

Let Reid and Sir Barthalimous V. Each do the thinking. Your job is to be patient and cheer in our next playoff game.
