Well, I mean, it's not like they have a lot of cash, either.

So you can go to a mediocre team with gods-know-what at QB or you can play with Patrick Mahomes.

If I was Mckinnon, winding down a career that was full of injuries and rehabs, I know which I'd prefer.

He doesn't have to carry the load here, he knows he'll primarily be a third down/receiving back and the team's going to be a winner.

He seems like a really smart guy and would know all of this. He's not Hardman over in the corner pouting about his usage.

Bullshit. He had top talent in college and in the NFL so far and top defenses. Even with all that he lost the SB and then to us. His 4th quarters are shit outside of the Bills game. He's no better any better than any of the other QB's that have no ring even though he's had the better team.

Uh, no.

It isn't done yet because McKinnon is at the point in his career where he probably won't sign until after June cuts.

I'm not sure if you've been an athlete, but playing on a winning team is amazing, but playing in a good situation that pays you fair is worth its weight in gold.

Reuniting with Bienemy would pay dividends for both sides. Bienemy gets another guy with immediate buy-in that he won't have to build credibility, and an immediate leader in the locker room. (McKinnon wore the captain's badge for KC in the last couple months of the season, including the Super Bowl.)

McKinnon gets to play in a system that will directly feed his talents.

Of course, that is all true in KC as well, but there's a non-zero chance Washington out-bids us because McKinnon is more important to Bienemy than he is to Reid.

I hope he comes back to KC, though.

4th quarters are crap. His fourth quarters are crap in the big games. Squeaked by the Faid, squeaked by the Titans, squeaked by us. Lost the SB in the 4th with a chance to win, squeaked by the Ravens without Lamar, lost to us taking a sack with game on the line. Defense kept them in every game and he was shit. They won a few but not because he led them there in the 4th.

McKinnon seemed to slow down a bit later in the year last year. Kinda wonder if they dont' look elsewhere.

No doubt they will. And I think they were hoping Ealy would fill that role.

McKinnon is what he is. Many things he does are extraordinarily valuable. But you can’t pay a dude his age with his history a ton of money.

Good point - I had in my head that he was extension eligible this season.

So the answer to "why hasn't Chase been extended yet?" is that Cincy CAN'T extend him yet.

Book closed.

Agreed.

I think they'll still look at bringing him back if he hasn't signed around camp, but he'll be entering camp playing for his job. I absolutely love his attitude and his willingness to block, but he's slowing down a bit.

If the Chiefs can replace him with a younger model, even if it's not a clear upgrade, I think they'll go that route. Maybe it's Ealy and maybe it's the draft. Hell, maybe it's Clyde.

But I think he's a break glass in case of emergency option at this point.

Plus his pass blocking is severely underrated.

Hilarious.

I'm so glad I'm not an Arizona fan.

KC's offense has been unstoppable since Mahomes has take over. Only one team has consistently contained it and Arizona chose to hire someone other than the guy responsible for it. They chose a DC who gave up 31 in the SB (and would have been 38 had they needed it). The Cardinals franchise historically is the worst in any sport. They make poor decisions routinely and I would be surprised if Gannon lasts beyond the what Cardinals coaches usually do (which is 3-5 years I believe).

Yeah, I don't think anyone will pay him significantly more than KC given his age and history. Knowing that KC is easily the best situation for him for the rest of his career from a salary, usage, and winning standpoint.

Polishing their Lamar Hunt or Lombardi trophies.

Though i did just get done polishing my gigantic cock. I was then able to smile because it actually belongs to me and not something i can only admire from a distance.

ROFL

If you really had a gigantic cock, some hot chick would be polishing it for you.

You wouldn't be in your mom's basement pleasuring yourself.
