I don't want to see this outcome for Patrick. Having that drive and passion is not an issue with Mahomes. Dont need to push it so far that you get divorced and your kids hate you.

Right now I would expect his wife to support him 100% and let him work as hard as he wants. He's in the prime of his career. Brady had 7 rings in his early 40's and still chose 1 more year of football over his family. That's just plain selfish and stupid.

I agree. Brady's wife was selfish and stupid about it because that's the man's career and once this is over it's over. And I don't think Mahomes has the drive that Brady had. I don't think very many people on the planet do. So it's not a slight of merit. Maybe Mahomes is a 10 in drive but if Mahomes is a 10 then Brady was an 11. I think the prevailing criticism right now is that Mahomes and is receivers aren't on the same page, then you work day and night until you are on the same page because whatever they're doing right now ain't enough.

Bullshit. The Wrs are crap. They worked in the off season, they worked at OTAs. They work in training camp and every practice since. Mahomes work ethic isn't the problem. Why did Brady quit on NE? His skill players stunk that bad. What didn't he work harder is your take. Total bullshit.

Whitlock is a big ,fat ,idiot. Just trying to drum up a story line. PM will go down as one of the best to play the game . Full Stop. His comparison is reeruned.

What evidence do you have that Mahomes doesn't have the same drive as Brady? The eye test? LMAO

At this point in Brady's career (7 years in), Brady didn't a wife and kids that Mahomes does. Brady didn't get married until 2009, when he was a 9 year veteran. Brady's first kid wasn't even born until 2007. Mahomes has far more responsibilities at age 28 than Brady did. And yet the only thing separating Mahomes and Brady to this point is a stupid Dee Ford offsides in the AFCCG.

This takes me back 25 years or so. (I suddenly feel old.) Whitlock vs Peterson/Chiefs/810/610/Kietzman/fans…. The guy is a master of monetizing hot takes, conjuring contrarian positions & getting under peoples’ skin. The Mahomes versus Brady conversation was run into the ground years ago. Here he resurrects the dated conversation and puts a slightly different twist on it. Bingo! Controversy! Everybody’s looking! Well done Whitlock. No need to teach an old dog new tricks.

Taunting New England fans with handwritten jabs from inside the press both. Seems like forever and a day. Creative, dumb, still funny and still remembered.

I think it’s a character thing.. If you can’t get respect for your work be controversial and at least everyone talks about you.. I have 0 respect for him, Skip or anyone who spits out shit that is really about attention seeking..
Sports journalism is dead.. It’s all about shock and awe..
