Cry me a river, Nancy. Your sauce has been weak since your first post and never got stronger. This thread was fine until you brought your usual passive-aggressive vaginal flow to it, just like always. You really should try to be more like Laz. He hates MU as much as I hate KU, yet he and I can flip each other shit all day long and keep it both civil and fun. Of course, Laz is a man, not a whiny little bitch, so I guess that helps.

And as far as that moron Sedated goes, maybe the BB's biggest wastoid should be more careful about dropping meth bombs. I don't care if he likes it. Or you.

I love how Kansas fan is trying to pretend that they are wanted by the Big 10 but won't go because they don't want to leave Kansas State behind. It's like saying that the only reason I won't attend an orgy filled with Victoria's Secret models unless they invite my friend...then I blame my friend for the fact that I'm not humping Adrianna Lima and company.

Or maybe you're just an ignorant dumbass unaware of Kansas legislature preventing the schools from being split into different conferences, kind of like Texas and TAMU. That's a non issue, though, because Kansas was never in the discussion for B10. I have no idea who, where or when ever said that was the reason KU isn't going to the B10.

I'm working on getting the Chiefs into the Big XII. Matt's still a little sore he never got to start in college, and I'm trying to get this team to a competitive level again. Win-win.

There's not, really. Most of the people in the small towns in both states are extremely friendly and there are a lot of farmers in both Kansas and Missouri. Missouri has more hills while Kansas is mostly flatter plains. There are nice suburbs on both sides of the KC metro area and there are also bad neighborhoods on both sides.

I'm not aware of any such law, but it's of no consequence. Kansas isn't wanted. MU leaving for the Big 10 will set off a chain of events that will dissolve the Big XII and leave Kansas scrambling to join Conference USA or some other such mid-major association of misfits. Quantrill only wishes he could have wrought as much havoc in Larryville.

Yeah, massive difference in enrollment. National titles are definitely close.

Yes, like I said in my post, they were not wanted. This is due to the way TV markets and profit sharing between schools in the B10 work. You would know not of such things because you're a ****ing troglodyte of bigger proportions then your Nebraska counterpart, billay. This has nothing to do with MU being superior in some mystical way, it's about relative location and big TV markets.

There's enough smoke here to black out the Sun, IMO. Really good deal for MU, not going to lie.

Also, Keitzman says Mizzou and Mike Alden specifically have clammed up and won't comment on the issue at all anymore. When something big is about to go down, that's when things get quiet. (Can't go blabbing to the media before it's official.)

You know who is pissed off about the move? The Kansas City Star. They'll have to have reporters that know the ins & outs of the Big Ten now and they'll have to be there for Big Ten media days and produce special sections for Big Ten football and basketball and make All-Big Ten teams, etc. in addition to all that they already do for the Big 12.

Night Wright was all excited about it the other day. Talked about how it'll give him more interesting topics... more interesting games to watch, etc. I agree that it'd be a cool thing for college fans in the KC area in general.

For me personally, it's not like I'd instantly not give a damn what happened with the rest of the Big 12. Hell, I'd probably start rooting for KSU a lot more.

I don't think there's any doubt about that. That rivalry is a century old and counting. They're not gonna end it. It might not be quite the same, but it's not like Mizzou and KU were games were hugely important very often anyway. (the game at Arrowhead not withstanding.)

Mizzou vs. KU is an event on it's own. Carries it's own weight. That won't change. Esp, in KC, and on this site.

Just like you overlooked that KU has no wrestling or gymnastics when mentioned the sports you're better yet. Good job with those, where do you place among the 3 other schools in the B12 that do have those sports?

Dr Tom's all over this. He fucking hates Texas. I think it would be a good deal all around. At least we'd have a yearly rivalry in Iowa along with Missouri. Nebraska and Iowa have had a good rivalry thru the years. We were screwed when they dropped Oklahoma and other than Missouri, Nebraska really doesn't have a rival game in the sense of the word. Although Texas was starting to climb the charts.

If Mizzou's going (and it seems very likely), I'd think Nebraska would fit in fine too... from a football perspective, if nothing else. The Big 10 gains the big TV markets, quality football and basketball programs in Mizzou, and a big name with Nebraska... a quality football program that fits right in the the style of play in the conference.

It is an honored tradition to which some school(s) are going to receive an invitation. As an Iowa fan I would like to see Nebraska come on in although I remember when Nebraska was in the Big8 so I'm a little freaked out.
Your first home games against the traditional power schools will be special.
Wait until you travel to the Shoe and the Big House to see your team play in a regular season game that means something.
Quite a feeling.
Although the meaning of the regular season for the Big10 is going to change, isn't it?

I'm a Hawkeye. Nebraska and Mizzou would be worthy additions to the Big10 IMHO but those other weak-sauce programs you mentioned are an insult.

edit* I apologize if that sounded disparaging, all are fine schools whose attributes make them better suited for conferences other than the Big10.

Why?

Well, for starters, if Colarado, Nebraska, and Mizzou all pull up stakes and move... Big 12 is sort of shot.

I know. The all-red upper just sticks out like a sore thumb against blue helmets and pants. The red should be an accent color, like on the uniform for Cobra Commander.

Interesting take. They've were essentially universally loved by fans (and recruits) from across the country. The only people that really didn't like them were older Mizzou fans.

I personally prefer the Brad Smith-era uniforms, but I must say I liked the one shot KU beatdown uniforms better than the current ones.

Loved those Uniforms! Do you know if there is any plan to use them more? I say we switch to those permanently
