I think Calythan is going overboard with his negativity, but be real and get your facts straight.

I just think Matt Ryan has horribly underperformed for his experience coming into the league combined with the consistancy of coaches and players he has had around him. If Matt Ryan was our QB he would be getting hammered by a lot of the fans.

I can't wait for this team to win 10+ games so we don't have to listen to GC's BS for a whole year. I move that he be allowed to posts vids though.lol. His only real contribution.

This team is not winning 10 games. We aren't going to face 5 backup quarterbacks.

Last year the stars aligned and we got 7 wins. Think how pathetic that is.

The stars aligned? Season-ending injuries to 3 key players is an alignment of the stars?

The only reason we won 7 games is because we faced dogshit QBs.

That's not gonna happen every year.

Now you want to get those injured players back, sure. That doesn't make us a good team based on 7 wins last year. Those wins are a bunch of shit.

Rodgers is a dogshit QB?

Try to keep up:

Boller
Painter
McNabb's Corpse
Hanie
Tebow

That's five wins against dogshit QBs.

If we could count on that this year, sure, 10 wins mother****er, sign me up.

I don't think the D is quite at the level people think it is. Tebow and the Broncos basically rushed the ball at will, although that might be part of Romeo's BBDB.

13.7 points per game. That's what matters.

petegz28 04-20-2012 12:01 PM

I think it's way too early to be declaring our wins-losses. How many years do we have to see teams that were projected to suck end up in the playoffs and vice-versa? Injuries, coaching changes, player drop off in performance, player upswing in perfromance. All these things impact teams every year.

I wouldn't lay money on it but there is nothing to say Cassel doesn't come out and have a 2010ish performance. There is nothing to say Manning doesn't re-injur his neck in game 1. There is nothing to say the Saints won't be in a form of disarray for several weeks. For all we know tyson Jackson could come out this year and be a beast on the line.

Each season is so different from one year to the next in the NFL which is what makes it fun.

We have a new coach and OC. We will\should have our starting TE and RB back in the lineup. We will have our best S back in the lineup. Baldwin has a year under his belt. We have a backup RB that's worth a shit. We don't have an undersized center or an oversized hole at RT anymore. I am sure there will be some disappointments somewhere or injuries but that happens to just about every team.

Buffalo came out last year on fire and ended up where?
SF went to the NFC Championship with Alex Smith.
Greenbay lost in their first playoff game at home.
Pittsburgh got whacked by Tebow who isn't even a Bronco anymore.

Things change, playrs change, injuries happen. I'd give it until pre-season before anyone has any idea of how this team his going to play this year.

It's always done here. It's ridiculous.

Every team's top back is always going to go for 200 or some shit and when it doesn't happen the excuses flow.

That's where you and some of the others differ here. You're stating that you either want a young potentially great HC or a proven veteran HC. You don't want to take a chance on an HC that has failed once.

All I know is there are a few coaches that have put the failure behind them learned from it, and with how the players seemed to respond to Crennel, I say give him a shot. Probably won't matter with Cassel anyway.

Messier 04-21-2012 09:01 PM

A young unproven coach would have made me angry. It would have felt like going down the Haley path, he'd have to learn on the job, and earn what Crennel already has, the players trust.

Reaching the playoffs once in four years? no, that was a FINE tenure in the WKRP broadcasting area.

Everyone else should get shot besides the defensive co-ordinator who Saved 2010, with an All-Pro job of on the fly chemistry, who **** you if he didnt do an Incredible Job last year, both as dc & hc, maintaining balance & control, keeping games close that really shouldnt have been.

I dont know why people are upset about who's coaching right now anyways. Doesnt matter what coach they hired. Shitstain Cassel is still tthe forcefed qb. Once he's gone and we try another, then we will see. Until then, like i said, it doesnt matter.

What makes this whole thing suck even worse is that most of what Pioli has been doing has been good for the team. Then you got cassel, makes it a wash. lol I was watching RG3 with Coach Grudden today and during one of their promo's it he said, you always build your team around your QB. We are doing the exact opposite building a team so the qb can hand off. lol
