This is what I like about the Bash, your main cost is for transportation. Especially if you stay and watch the game at Joe's. There's nothing more appropriate during a shitty season than to have Bob Dole giving live commentary during the game. Saturday is great because the Chiefs haven't screwed the pooch so everyone's feeling good.

Hey Joe, I'm still planning on coming, but I probably won't be partaking of any food. I have a golf tournament on Saturday and probably won't be out until later in the evening.

I'm still going to make a donation, just haven't got around to it yet. And of course, I will be bringing the host a jug of my margaritas.

Exactly, skip the game and hang out a Joes. You can go to Joe's Sat, crash there that night and watch all the games at his house and then drive home. Probably cost you about the same in gas, because you don't have to wait for stadium traffic to get in and out of the stadium.

Though I will just be there Sat myself, 'cause I have stuff to do on Sunday.

I still get torn whenever I get these suggestions, but the more I weigh the pros and cons, the stress of not having money outweighs getting to see you all. Nothing against any of you all, but I really hate stress. I know I'll see you all some other time, too. Except maybe for morphius. :p

How many of you are planning on crashing here for the night and staying Sunday for the game?I only ask because I have nothing planned for Sunday and am wondering if we want to wait and see what leftovers look like or make a trip to the store like before or maybe keep it real easy with a pizza feed.

In other words,ideas?

I was planning on staying for the game, but if no one else is going to be there then I don’t want to impose and could always head back to KC for my normal watch party.

Oh hell no,I want anyone who wants to stay to do so plus it's perfect viewing this weekend as there's 7 noon games and I just happen to have 7 tv's :)

I was just posting this as trying to get an idea and what we'll do for food.

Sundays in the gameroom have always been just as much fun as Saturday. The wives making breakfast, the guys feeding their hangover before starting round 2, everyone soaking up fantasy news and discussing matchups, random celebrations as fantasy stars rack up points. Good times.

Bugeater 09-24-2012 11:15 AM

I'll be there Sunday, if Kindra is going to be there I'd suggest her awesome biscuits & gravy. If not, we could still do breakfast or I'd be willing to grill up a little something before the games begin.
