interesting story I saw on a show once, when McDonalds was still very young and only had hamburgers they had to add something for religious reasons and the two brothers had one idea each. One brother wanted a fish sandwich, the other wanted a pinnapple and cheese sandwich on a bun. The winner would stay on the menu permanently.

Hence the fish-o-fillet.

I tried to find a video about that, but couldn't and thought that looked like a big fail for them and would be a good addition to the thread.
