Dodgers have scored 3 runs so far this game just from outs that are made everyday in grade school games, but Bryant and Rizzo suddenly forgot how to play defense. Good thing this game is no longer close.

Rizzo has been a Chris Davis level bust so far this postseason. I can't see the Cubs getting past Cleveland with the automatic outs Rizzo and Russelll are right now.

Yes, because as we can see from the ALCS, those offenses are just juggernauts. The Cubs scored more runs tonight than both teams in the ALCS have scored in 2 games combined. Hell, they matched their total in 1 ****ing inning.

Yes, because the Indians pitching staff is garbage, especially their bullpen.

I'm not saying the Indians have some sort of juggernaut offense, they don't. But the Cubs have had the luxury of facing one of the worst bullpens I've ever seen and then a clearly overmatched Meada. Hell, the Cubs should have been up 8-0 with how bad Meada looked and if it weren't for Dave Roberts over managing, they may still be playing. My original point is, I don't think the Cubs can win it all getting literally nothing from Rizzo and Russell once they face a team with a shutdown bullpen. Clearly, you disagree. The beauty is, we'll find out soon enough.

Coghlan vs Blanton:

.471 AVG, .550 OBP, .529 SLG, 1.079 OPS.

And since the Cubs reacquired Coghlan, he has a .252 AVG and nearly .400 OBP for the Cubs.

On the other hand, Montero vs Blanton:

.182 AVG, .182 OBP, .273 SLG, .455 OPS.

I wouldn't want Blanton pitching to Coghlan either. Right move, just didn't work out.

He likes to speak in hyperboles. This is the guy who tried to sell Royals fans on the Mets unstoppable "4 ace" rotation last year - including a pitcher who had six career starts and one who had pitched for half a season.
