Georgia or Oregon would have wiped the floor with Notre Dame. Hell, I think Georgia might have even beaten Alabama. Who knows though.

Doesn't matter, but I think FL should be 2 spots higher in the coaches poll. They whooped Fla State head-to-head and beat LSU (Clemson's bowl win). All three teams have 2 losses.

You lost to Louisville. You have no say in this matter. Be grateful you are in the top 10.

Lost to Louisville. Beat A&M, LSU, Florida State, USCe.

You have no say in this matter.

LMAO.

I wonder what the score would have been had they played this game 30 days ago.

Probably closer. I'd guess 28-17 Alabama

Thanks you, Saban, for shutting Mike Golic up.

Dayze 01-08-2013 08:31 AM

ND had some good wins (Stanford, Oklahoma, USC) but let's not forget they were lucky to beat the likes of Purdue and Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh absolutely shit their drawers late in that game.

What a terrible bowl season... watched LSU do everything it could to give Clemson the game, and South Carolina/Michigan was pretty good. And then there was, uh....

These type discussions are always contentious. The Stanford win is debatable (still think Taylor broke the plane). Oklahoma wasn't very good this year and USC was garbage.

Yes they should have lost to Pitt and had no business playing close with Purdue. They also played very close with Michigan and BYU/

But - ND was undefeated. In '06 Florida needed a blocked FG to beat South Carolina. In 2008 Florida lost to Ole Miss. In 2010 Auburn barely beat Miss St., Clemson took them to OT, South Carolina was a 1-score game, only beat Kentucky by 3.

You always need some luck to win a NC.
