They chose the younger player with upside over the talented player who's on the backside of his career. I'm guessing they realized they couldn't pay both.

And what do you think Clark Hunts reaction was? Because if i'm Hali I can easily get an 80 million dollar contract. Hunt doesn't want to give firefighters free tickets he's going to have a hard time giving Tamba 80 mil.

Lol because what OTW says is gospel here jk. He has good points only problem is he doesn't listen to differing opinions. Pest stop being so negative u were last year and we won the division have some faith in this organization it's being run better than the Petterson era. Sorry I've been away for a while because the negativity bugs me on this board can't you give some faith in pioli he's done ok so far.

If Carr goes anywhere we are getting a first round pick for him, which isn't a bad trade.

Exactly where was I being negative? You're the one that came in here and stated that if Romeo and Emmitt Thomas aren't in a hurry to re-sign Carr it's because he might not be that good.
