Regardless of the current options, to ME, the coach of the year should be the one who's done the best job of coaching up a team with less talent or against great adversity. LSU has neither concern. It's why I think Bill Self winning it year after year is silly. Coaches of teams chock full of talent and a modicum of caoching SHOULD be expected to have great records.

I think Alabama is better than OSU but they didn't win their conference. They played LSU at home and lost. It's not fair to LSU to have to play them again. Plus, the SEC is down this year. LSU has played some good offenses but Bama really hasn't. I can't say Bama is undeserving but I think it should be OSU vs LSU.
