The fact that the swimmers smashed up the restroom and were doing damage inside adds a lot of context. In our country you still have to meekly stand back, call the cops, and sue them in court, but things don't always work that way elsewhere.

If you were talking about the televised report at the beginning of today's broadcast, then I guess you missed it when they said one of them then went into the restroom, smashed the mirror and broke other stuff before storming out.
