To be honest, I'd rather Algeria win today, forcing us to beat them, meaning that if we win, we advance no matter the margin.

Forget everything I've said.

If we win by more than one goal vs Algeria we advance.

If Slovenia and England Draw 0-0, we need 1 goal and a win (1-0)
If Slovenia and England Draw 1-1, we need 2 goals and a win (2-1)
If they draw 2-2, we need 3 and a win (3-2)
3-3, we need 4, etc... (4-3)

If we win by a margin of more than 1 (2-0, 3-1, 4-2, 4-1, 5-1, 6-0 etc.) we advance no matter what.

And if Algeria pulls off the upset or a draw against England?

yeah, but not when you consider the amount of hot chicks in the stands at these soccer games that would go home with him in a second.

Wah? I thought we were hoping for tie between those two teams. No?

If Algeria beats England, we must win against Algeria, and we advance with a win no matter the differential or goals scored.

I ****ing hate you, beaker.

If England and Algeria Draw, and then England and Slovenia Draw....

That means that the least we could do to get in is draw Algeria and make sure we have more goals scored than England.

In terms of pure advancement, it is better if they don't tie. But if we want to win the group on tie breakers then we want them to tie (because U.S., England, and Slovenia would have 5 points).

true, and there's also the old adage "no matter how hot they are, there's some guy that is sick of her shit."
