We are SOOOOOOO lucky that Illinois plays as inconsistently as we do, or this game wouldve been ****ed at the half.

How about give the tigers some credit for finishing

That intentional foul ended the game. Had that not been called, It couldve been a completely different ending

KcMizzou 12-22-2010 10:18 PM

That intentional was a bad call... but it doesn't matter... Mizzou would have won this game without it.

This team isn't real pretty, but they're pretty clutch.

You're kidding right? Pushing him in the back

Sassy Squatch 12-22-2010 10:19 PM

FTR, the only 2 games I have caught are Georgetown and Illinois, so please bear with me as I guess I've seen the team off form.

If they would have called over the back it could have been a completely different game. Lurch wasn't going for the ball and he had his hands on Bowers back while he was in the air.

Good win for Mizzou. I understand the Int. foul was called cause the defender never went for the ball, but I rarely see it called in a game like that. A good win none the less though.

11-1, best start since 1991-1992. Awesome.

Completely disagree. That was the very definition of an intentional:

"not a legitimate attempt to directly play the ball or a player"

It was a good call, and a monumentally stupid decision by Illinois. Weber's bullshit made it all the more fun.

I disagree that it was a bad call.

He shoved him in the back with no effort to play the ball. That is by rule intentional.

It was not flagrant. It was not violent or dirty. There was no intent to injure. But he clearly shoved Bowers.

Bo Pelini-esque the entire game, it looked like. He is one cranky MFer.

**** yeah mother****ers!!!!!!!!!!!!

**** the god damn illini

That epic beat down just made my Xmas season.

HUGE win for this team. Bowers finally woke up, Dixon stepped up, and we won without Denmon playing huge on the offensive end, although his steal at the end was huge.

FYI I am wicked drunk on some babas egg nog

Well, he DID push him, but I was shocked that it was called intentional. Mizzou never (ever) gets that call... and we'd have won without it, so it's a moot point.
