There was a story recently about his simpler apprach at the plate. Hopefully it's going to shorten his swing among other things.

Moose and Hosmer both homered today and drove in 2 runs. Hosmer also doubled twice. Guthrie had a rusty first start, but Mendoza pitched 2 scoreless innings and got the win. Royals still undefeated.

Be nice to have a 12 game winning streak the first month of the season to counter that shit start last year.

I'm really pumped for this season. I have been watching quite a bit MLBTV and the Royals have gotten some encouraging reviews. I don't expect any magical season, but it would be nice to see some meaningful baseball late into the season for once.

Are they showing any Royals preseason games? I've looked at their channel's guide several times and haven't seen one yet.
