A few thoughts. I've only saw the first half. After Alabama passed for a first down on the sixth yard line I had enough. Mind you it was pretty late here in the UK. Honestly who knows if Notre Dame could have won if there had brought there A game but there definitely couldn't win with there Z game.

no. ND couldn't have won if they play AAA+ game. they aren't good enough to compete with the juggernaut that is Bama.
too bad we didn't get to see if the Ducks could hang. what a waste of a championship game.

The Ducks wouldn't have been able to hang with Alabama either. Alabama has a combination of size AND speed.

I honestly think what happened was that Alabama punched ND in the mouth early on....and the Irish were ****ing shocked.

IMO it'd be a foolish man to say ND had a better chance than OR though.
look at strength of schedules. ND was 27th last I looked. OR deserved to be in that game much more than ND. thank GOD there is some kind of saving grace around the corner with the playoff coming....
