Oh really?

So entities like OPEC don't control the the production output for a desired price range on a barrel of oil?

Prices are going to be brutal, by the time summer gets here. :shake:

Oklahoma myself. Wife’s ride takes premium. It was $3.64 yesterday at 7am. On my home from work at 5 it was $3.94.

This right here is the reason I am on doing Uber. The cost of gas and the upkeep on the car but gas prices alone have stopped me

old_geezer 03-04-2022 03:58 PM

Last Saturday it was $3.19 locally. Today (6 days later) it's $3.79. We are entering a world of hurt.

Donger 03-04-2022 04:07 PM

WTI now at $115/barrel. Hold on to your butts...

displacedinMN 03-04-2022 04:22 PM

3.79 today in some places

Shell station down the street from me $5.19 regular. I'm expecting $7-$8 gal sometime this year.

I'm sure it's buried in this thread somewhere, but a little history reminder and perspective:

Crude topped out at about $142/barrel in July of 2008. Gasoline hit about $4.11/gallon.

The Chevrolet EV Truck, Fleet model, is going to have a 20,000 capability. The initial offering is supposed to be 10,000. They are a 4 door vehicle. Not a true SUV but not much difference.
