I was drum security lol. It was an outdoor show at St. Louis University. PFP was playing and their drummer used DW brand drums... custom, hand made drums. At the time I managed a regional rock band called The Undecided. Thier drummer J.R. Engle played DW drums as well. PFP drummer had had an accident with his kit and there was a "society" of DW users who could stay in touch and borrow drums when needed. He contacted us and wanted to use J.R.'s drums since J.R. was closest to the show. So me and The Undecideds booking agent made the trip with the drums, set them up and sat on the concrete wall right behind the kit during the show to guard them. Then took them down, reloaded and drove back home.

We had to clean an assload of ashes and rose petals off the kit before we could tear down. Good times though.

This is the band I used to manage. This song got on 17 radio stations in 1994. Far from being a national hit but it was good a we loved it.

The band is back together again now. Spent a day and a show with them this past summer and introduced them again. Was like the old days again.

I'd like you guys opinion even if it's bad. These guys are good, old friends.

Their essence was an 80's rock band but made their way into the 90's. Opened for Motley Crue among others. Others liking them isn't so important to me... some of the best days of my life were with those guys.

Here's another. From their 2nd album "II... Late Now." The album was produced by Mark Beil who co-produced Bon Jovi. I was in the studio the day they recorded this song... such a good time.

I think it's cool that you got to be a part of that, Fever! :) If they could break through and produce a hit single, I'm sure they would go far.

Age doesn't mean crap in the music biz. Look at all the 30-40 year old musicians that have busted through. But hey, if they just want to play for fun, that works too. :)

Age means everything for new acts. Plus Undecided plays their style of music not what someone wants them to play.

I got married at 26 and that was a couple, three years later at least. My wife was in the crowd whooping and hollering. I can hear her on the vid... I know that yell. I've always looked younger than my age. Even now with graying hair I don't have crows feet or anything like that. Some gray in the hair and beard... but I like it.

Barry was out of style when I was a kid too. My vocal teacher told us if you want to learn what perfect pitch is... even tho it's "uncool" listen to Barry Manilow. He has one of the most perfect voices in music, then and now. That advice helped me go to state as a soloist. You can't be a good singer if you aren't but if you are you can learn technic from Barry.

He has one of the most perfect voices in music, then and now. That advice helped me go to state as a soloist. You can't be a good singer if you aren't but if you are you can learn technic from Barry.

I don't think that it would be wise for a chick to try to learn vocals from Manilow. That would sound pretty damn awful. LMAO

Not at all. Good pitch is good pitch. Just take it up to the octave that fits your voice. I can't sing with Barry, my voice is too low. I can hear his technique though. Of course I had years of vocal training too so... if you haven't it's more difficult.
