However, I don't think they will.

I think MU prob. by 10.

They have top 5 talent in the country... maybe top 2 or 3. But, they all do the same thing, which doesn't include giving a shit about playing defense or working hard on offense...... but, if you're in need of a big 3 or dunk...

O.city 02-10-2012 10:07 PM

It's a scary game thats for sure. I think MU will win, but Baylor is scary.

Perry Jones had 5 points the other night. don't know how that happens. Perry Miller didn't hardly play in the second half.

Again I think MU wins, if they shoot the ball well and or get in the lane and can finish.

Pasta Little Brioni 02-10-2012 10:09 PM

They look like And 1 ballas out there. Disciplined teams like KU are going to pick that apart.

Molitoth 02-10-2012 10:14 PM

I just hope we feed Ratliffe more and stop shooting so many quick 3's. Unless someone is just on fire.

O.city 02-10-2012 10:20 PM

I could see Baylors length giving Rat some problems. MU really needs their guards to live in the paint.

English should have a great game if he can just hit jumpers from the free throw line. Against that zone it's a weak spot .

Ratliff owned Baylor the last time they played. If Mizzou can repeat that, they should win.

Who guarded Jones and Miller in Waco? I assume English guarded one.

The guy has a crazy knack for always "getting his" and staying out of foul trouble against bigger teams. (knock on wood) As has been said a million times on TV, he plays below the rim.... but somehow he's been amazingly successful.

A lot of it has to be the guard play and good offense giving him lots of easy looks. But he's been damned impressive.

O.city 02-10-2012 10:32 PM

Rat just hangs around the rim and gets points. He has a pretty good back to the basket game but it's not crazy good.

He just plays smart and knows the angles.

I don't remember, honestly. I'd guess English and Matt Pressey.

And somehow he has the highest FG% in NCAA history.

That just shows how awfully coached and fundamentally bad Baylor is.

Miller and Jones are lottery picks potentially. There is not way they should let themselves be guarded by Pressey and English. Not a knock on those two, but size wise and skill wise they shouldn't be able to guard them.

Props to the two for being gritty and guarding. I like the way English digs in on the defensive side.

I know. It's crazy.

I wasn't trying to knock the guy. I think he is a really good player. He just plays intelligent basketball. gotta respect that.

stonedstooge 02-10-2012 10:37 PM

Little guys on Mizzou have really gotten under the rim and fought for rebounds in the Land of the Giants

Understood. Hell, I agree.
Just sayin'.
