It was in good shape, but my experience with most TPC courses is they get alot of play for being TPCs. Sawgrass was probably the best one I've played, but I think Southwind in Memphis is the toughest.

I've never played any in arizona, have heard good th8nk about Troon though

I didn't think Southwind was that difficult. It has its holes,#12 is touchy, but I drove about 2 hrs south of there in Alabama and played Turtle Point. That course if tough as nails and for March was in great shape.

Played from the tips, at about 7400 yards and a par 71, it was pretty difficult.

Playing here this weekend. It's an upscale public course with costs of $120 max at prime time Sat-Sun mornings.

Stonewall at Lake Manassas. Directly next door is the Robert Trent Jones private course where they play the Tiger Woods Quicken Loans event.

Holes 3-6 along the lake.

I think the toughest course I've played overall, was either Pinehurst or pacific dunes.

I'm getting to play Oakmont next summer on a golf trip, I'm guessing it's gonna be up therr

True I've only played two TPC courses. That one and Deere Run and it's the harder of the two. I have come to notice that almost all tpc course end with the same design. A par 4 dog leg left with water on the left.

I'm not a huge fan of the TPC courses. They get so much play they're always a bit run down.

Sawgrass was nice though

Yea I've never played sawgrass before. Have a buddy who is a member there but I've never played it. Pinehurst will be awesome I bet

Pinehurst was just ridiculously difficult. You'd hit good shots and miss greens.

There's a course in Fayetteville called the blessings that's super tough too.

The blessings from the back tees has a rating of 79.2.

It's crazy hard

Me too.

Played TPC at Summerlin near Las Vegas around 2000 and TPC Phoenix Open twice in 1999 and 2001

I liked both.

I'm going to the ryder cup this year so I'm hoping to play some course up there. It's just outside of Minneapolis. Any suggestions?

O.city 07-01-2016 08:45 AM

So I've got my club championship next weekend and a four ball 2 day tourney the weekend after.

To pat myself on the back a little, I've gotten my index back down to scratch this year. I've worked my ass off to so it, now I've gotta get shit together for the club champ. 2 days of stroke play, then match played out. Last year I lost in the semis to the eventual champ 2 and 1. I've gotta try and get the 1 seed to avoid him and the other betier player til the finals. Luckily, the dude that plays to a plus 4 at our club isn't gonna play this year due to other comments but we added a few other good players as new member this year, so we'll see.

Try GD's Best in State. Hazeltine is only third (which isn't surprising, because I've heard pros say it's the worst course that is in a regular major rotation)

Played in South Carolina two weekends ago. Hot as ****, but had a great time. ****ing airline (United) broke my Driver, 5-Wood and 6-iron. All Ping G-25's. Mother****ers took ZERO responsibility. My ass was roasted talking to these dumbshits, but they just kept saying that they don't cover sports equip. I have been travelling over 25 years with Golf Clubs and never had an issue. Anyone have similar experiences, or better yet, have success filing a claim with the airline?
