I think we may see Jones at DE more than we expect. Why not have Saunders/Williams/Nnadi do some almost 2-gap stuff to jam up the interior then utilize Gay and Bolton blitzing the A gaps on occasion.

There’s a need to create chaos and block those running lanes. We can’t sit back and be timid or they’ll impose their will.

Hurts isn't a fast processor and doesn't operate well under pressure. Why wouldn't you blitz him?

Rattle his cage early. Get him off his spots and make him throw off platform with a compromised shoulder. And again, Hurts and his 4.6 YPC doesn't scare me - flush his ass and let him try to scramble; kid's worse at it than Mahomes is.

I'd probably send an extra man 30-40% of the time in this game, though obviously game script could alter that somewhat.

The ONLY way Hurts has a chance to beat us is if he has time to sit and survey while Brown and Smith use their speed to find space. Or Goedert gets himself open over the middle.

So don't let him.
