Orange is awesome, small town vibe in the middle of greater LA.... Provisions Deli has a great beer selection, Tabu Shabu is great... Bottle Logic, Bruery, Green Cheek, Monkish, and now Everywhere are all right there.

Old Town Orange is a really cool little area. Tons of really well maintained craftsmen style houses and boutique places to eat or drink.

There's a good shot I won't listen to anyone here, much like when I was KC and ya'll recommended great breweries and taprooms.

But, any suggestions for Chicago?

A buddy of mine and myself will be there in July to watch the Royals/Cubs. It's like a 10 min walk from our AirBNB, so something near or walking distance would be preferred.

Right now Hop Butcher and Dovetail are on the list.

Dovetail if you like Euros, Hop Butcher if you like hoppy bears. The whole Ravenswood area is walkable

If you’re up for an Uber I’d recommend Half Acre, Hop Butcher is in the old Half Acre production brewery on Lincoln Ave.

If you’re into stouts, and can Uber, swallow your pride and hit Goose Fulton Market or better yet Revolution on Kedzie

Other good ones like Mikerphone and Phase 3 that people may suggest are waaay out in the burbs

I’ll probably think of more tomorrow

I really can't say enough about Dovetail. No one cares about lagers but its like being in Munich if Munich was under an L train which can drop you at Wrigley

You didn't ask, but if I were back in Chicago and in that area I'd hit Pequod's for pizza

We work with Half Acre, and they make really, really solid beers.

I've been eyeing up some of their stouts, which do not get distro in Green Bay, and might actually be Taproom exclusives only. Some of their Benthic stuff looks really, really good.
