I have no problem with them preventing Zorn from interviewing with Chicago if they had intention of KEEPING him. It's starting to look like they're going to have him walk and while they're saying they wish him well, when in reality they're letting him go knowing they prevented him from an ideal chance to find employment elsewhere.

When you have a perception problem, the last thing you want to present the image of is that of a team where people are trying to jump ship.

I would be shocked if we made a move to replace Zorn.

Romeo said he "expects" him to be here.

If they end up letting him go, what purpose does it serve to block his ability to interview elsewhere, other than to appear petty?

He also said they were going to look outside of their normal circles for an OC and, as you have already mentioned, they were focused on Daboll the whole time.

Bush isn't in Charles league and while Marshall is awesome, they don't have Baldwin, Breaston, and Moeaki to supplement him.

Orton 9 ints 9 TDs 77.8 rating, Moore 9 ints 16 TDs 87.1 rating last year.

In 13 games as starter for Denver in 2010, Orton averaged 281 yards per game...had 20 touchdowns to only 9 interceptions. Only 4 fumbles. Sacked 34 times. 87.5 rating

Orton > Moore

Orton > Moore

One has peaked one is still on the rise. He was run out of town by a fullback.

Orton is a better QB and it's not even close.

I'm trying very hard to be clear-minded and objective about all this ... in between fits of abject depression and the horrific panic attacks that are a combination of acute asthmatic episodes and arterial spasms, of course ...

Nevertheless, when you read between the lines, it seems like the FO is playing hard ball with poor ol' Zorn (we call him Forlorn Zorn, over here). They won't let him talk business with another team, play games with his attempts to move up in the organization, then publicly announce their "expectations" of him. There's something unseemly about all this ... it's like Zorn is a candy wrapper that nobody cares about.

Image of jumping ship? Zorn wanted to jump. KC didn't let him interview. The cat's out of the bag.

He did? Is that why he wanted the OC position?

Exactly so.

It's like what one of the greatest Planeteers of all times said earlier today in one of his typically phenomenal and inspired posts, Romeo would probably have gone elsewhere this year had Dr. Evil not promoted him. That was, very likely, the leverage that Romeo used to get the HC job.

Moore has been a backup everywhere for a reason.

I do not take you serious, and will not waste time talking to you on any subject. You have acted like a troll when I have tried to.

Yeah you say this yet you continue to respond to my posts. Everytime I post something factual you go off on this rant about me being a troll yet you can never back up your claims. You've also shrugged off McFaddens Lisc Franc injury trying to pretend like it doesn't effect running backs.
