Like it always happened with Roy at KU - that works until someone gets you out of your game....and when they do, you have no idea how to handle it.

That actually could be a huge advantage for us. Does anyone know if Kentucky has seen a triangle and two this season?

That also reminds me of that quote from 2008, was it Chalmers? "Everyone asked us how we would guard them, no one asked them how they would guard us."

I guess the media comparing a possible KU win to 1985 Villanova/Georgetown and 1983 NC State/Houston makes any outcome a little easier to take.

I like to think of it as a 1988 Kansas/Oklahoma type game.

What's the over/under on UK doing that damnded stupid Three Point Goggles?!

We have to tonight, we have to hit 7 - 8 3's to open up the middle.

Mr_Tomahawk 04-02-2012 09:46 PM

Fun season. I was NOT expecting to be playing tonight at the beginning of the season.

Probably Self's best coaching job at KU.

Thanks TT and TRob.

I'm curious, anyone upset about the loss?

No. I'm a little disappointed. It is never fun to lose, but it was fun to get there and they really had no business being there, but they did give them a game.

I'm a little upset that they called NOTHING down low. This was probably one of the better match ups we'll see down low, maybe ever, and it just turned into a ****ing brawl. KU was getting decent post entry and we could have watched good big men make moves and defend well, but both sides were just mugging the shit out of everyone. It is terrible basketball.

But overall, this is a really good season for these guys. Couldn't be happier with the season. The fact that all those Missouri one who sucks the peniss talked all that shit and went out in the first round to a 15 seed just icing on the cake.

Nope... when they were making a run, I thought "oh crap, I'm caring!"... but, it would have been such a monumental comeback/choke. Kentucky is worth the hype.

They had a couple of reports from Mass St last night, and it was pretty cool... KU fans leaving the bars, exchanging high 5s for a great season, and they were in a relatively good mood.

ChiTown 04-03-2012 07:45 AM

Congrat's, KU Fans!

That was a hell of a surprise season for you guys. I can't think of any National Pundits that thought you would end up in the NCG. Great season.

I see it as a missed opportunity, but regardless I couldn't be happier with how the season has gone.
